Brady & Bethany's Dedication

Sunday we had Brady and Bethany dedicated. It turned out to be a wonderful day. Both sides of our family were able to attend. After church we all headed out to eat lunch together. We had a nice time to converse and catch up. Thank you to all of you who were able to attend. We appreciate all your support!

Saturday at the Ballpark!

On Saturday, my dad was able to get the company suite tickets to the Indians game. We had a great time, the weather was nice and sunny. My grandparents and Eric were able to go too. Brady had such a good time! Everytime the crowd would yell he would too-it was pretty funny. He loved watching Slider(Indians mascot) dance around. I got some pretty good pictures. Best of all the Indians won, that always makes the game better! :) Thanks dad for setting it up for all of us, it was really nice!

Stormy weather

I had to take some pictures of the sky tonight, it was so beautiful! I love storms! I know that they can be very destructive but I just think they are amazing. If I wasn't so bad in science I would have been a meterologist. I love weather!

This last one was our UFO sighting! LOL

Sunny Saturday

We spent most of the day outside on Saturday, it has been the first weekend we have been home in awhile. It was so nice to be outside. We did some yardwork that needed to be done and just hung out a bit.

Here's a couple of pictures...

Visit to Eric & Christy's

Eric & Christy

We had a great weekend with Eric and Christy!

It turned a bit cold and I didn't bring any long pants. Now I know ALWAYS pack pants when going to Pittsburgh! :) It was the first time we had seen their house, and it is totally cute. We were greeted by Emma and Ally, two of the sweetest cats! Ally was born at our house-she's Juniors sister, and was adopted by Christy. It was good to see her again.
Kirk and Eric did some work on the house. Which turned out good.
I'm now totally addicted to Rita's! Yummy Gelati!

Hills, Hills, Hills! Did I say Hills! Yes, Pittsburgh is very hilly!

We went by the inclines, but decided against going on them this time. Maybe next time, I know Brady would really enjoy them.

We were able to go to church with them on Sunday before we went home.

And going home was an adventure, well Kirk and I were having a grand ol time chatting and we totally missed our turn. I mean REALLY missed out turn. So I with my wonderful navigational skills I helped to find a way back to OH. Hey, it ended up ok, we got to see part of the PA countryside that we wouldn't of been able to see! :) In the end, we only ended up with an $8.30 ticket because we did an illegal U-turn on the OH turnpike. Screwed in our own state! That stunk!

It really was a great trip though! We can't wait until little Erica or Christopher comes in December! ;)

Some updates...

It's been awhile since I posted some updates so here goes...

Kirk is done with school yippee! He started working construction again, he was ready for the change. He has been sending out resumes left and right and has also had some interviews. We are praying the right job will come along this summer.

Brady is having fun playing outside. If it's warm he's out the door at 9:30am! He also started making himself breakfast this past week. Which was a surprise to me! Yikes! When you have a child that has a bottomless pit, food can not wait. So much for that little snooze with Bethy in the mornings. He did do a good job though, no mess! He's excited about starting PeeWee Camp at the Y on Monday. He will hopefully get to see some of his preschool friends there.

Bethany is a mover and a shaker! She started crawling last week and pretty much hasn't stopped! She's everywhere and boy is she fast! She is pulling herself up on anything and everything! She has started to walk around the furniture so walking unattended isn't to far away! Watch out! :) She loves her voice, growling is her favorite. We often call her the "Waz UP!" baby, because that's what she sounds like! She's eating a ton, likes pretty much anything you give her. She's a tubalub! She just gets cuter everyday! Her hair is starting to grow more. Still that pretty strawberry blonde!

An Me, well taking care of the kids keeps me on the move! Always something going on that's for sure. I'm trying to get in contact with some old friends and keep up with everyone else. I'm looking forward to some summertime activities.

Well, it's getting late and I still have some stuff to do before bed so I better go. I have attached some pictures. It's just a mish-mosh of a stuff. Hope you enjoy them!

Love,
Amanda

In Remembrance of Chewy(Chewbacca)

He came into our lives as a promise made by my dad when we moved to Ohio. He was this cute chocolate furball when we got him from the SPCA. He grew up to be a handsome dog. Chewy was always there for us. Whenever we came home he was there tail wagging to greet us. He was there to console us when we cried. He was our protector. He made us laugh with his antics.
He was an all-around great dog. He will forever be in our hearts!
Love you Chewy!

A day of firsts...

Yesterday was a day of firsts for Bethany! She finally pulled herself all the way up! For about a month or so she had been able to pull herself up on her knees, well yesterday afternoon she made it all the way up! As you can see from the pictures she thinks she's pretty hot stuff! :) Well, after she did that, she decided to show me she could clap her hands! We had been practicing for about a week. It was so sweet! She was so pleased with herself!

Happy Mother's Day

Thank you to my mom and grandmothers for helping to mold me into the mom I am! I love you!

My kids are my greatest accomplishments, and being a mom is the best job I could ever have. I wouldn't change it for anything!

Happy Mother's Day!
