Family Update

Wow, it's already been a busy summer! Sorry I haven't updated in a really long time!
We have been doing really good. The kids are growing like weeds! Brady doesn't even need to use a stool to reach the upper cabinets in the kitchen. It's crazy!
We have been able to take a couple family weekend trips with the kids. We went to Mohican State Park on the 5th. They climbed the big fire tower with Daddy, scared Mommy a little. We also went by Malabar Farms, we couldn't really do anything since it was getting so late but we will definitely go back hopefully later this summer or fall. They enjoyed going to Amish country and taste testing all the different cheese's at Heini's. They love going into the little shops to look at all the knick knacks. Bethany was amazed they had cows! haha Um ok! ;)
My mom and I took the kids to IL to visit family. We wished we could have stayed longer! We visited the Abraham Lincoln Museum, it was amazing!! You have to go if you've never been!!
The kids have also participated in a couple VBS programs at the local churches, we have ours at our church next week. I'm in charge of crafts again, so I'm trying to finish all the prep for that.
We had 2 family reunions this past weekend in Mt Vernon, Kirk's grandma(Smith)Cameron's side then his grandpa Cameron's side. It was very hot, but it was so nice getting to see extended family we don't get to see very often!!
Kirk is busy working but he's been playing church softball a couple times a week which he enjoys. The kids love to go with daddy to the field also, which gives Mommy a little break. ;)
I have been busy chasing the kids! I turned 33 last week, it feels pretty much the same as last year! LOL I'm still volunteering as the Preschool Children's Church director. It's going great and I have a lot of wonderful volunteers that help me out on Sundays. I also started a new sister ministry to our MOPS(Mothers of Preschoolers) group. I just really felt God was calling me to start a new MOPS group at church that would meet at night geared towards working moms. Working mom's need MOPS too!! So starting this fall I will be leading MOPS at Night! I already have got 3 awesome women to help me lead it. They are just as excited as I am. Can't wait to see what God does!!
Kirk and I will be celebrating our 11th Anniversary this Saturday, I'm hoping we get a little getaway. We will see!
Last, but definitely not least, our Georgia Marie! She turned 18mths last Monday. She is such a sweetie but she is a spitfire as well! She definitely has a temper. I blame it on the red hair! She's starting to talk more and is really fast and is not afraid of much! We took her to the Dr on Monday and she is getting so tall(33.75"). She weighs about 25 lbs too.

So that's what has been happening in a nutshell!
Love.
