Happy Mother's Day

Thank you to my mom and grandmothers for helping to mold me into the mom I am! I love you!

My kids are my greatest accomplishments, and being a mom is the best job I could ever have. I wouldn't change it for anything!

Happy Mother's Day!

Preschool/Daycare Day at Epworth UMC

Sunday was Preschool and Daycare Day at Epworth United Methodist Church. This is where Brady goes to preschool, two days a week for a few hours. He loves it!
The kids sang a few songs for us! So funny!

This is Brady's artwork, it is apparently a picture of his house and family. :)

Our furbabys...

Well, since this site is named after our dear pets too; we though we should have a post for them!

This is Angus(Ango). He's our big boy, but he is the youngest. He's a mama's boy and doesn't like too much change. He weighs about 11.5 lbs, believe it or not he has lost some weight! He's a big fur ball.

This is Daisy(Daze). She has been our loyal companion since we moved here. She was our first, even before Brady came along. She's our protector, although small she has a mean bark. The UPS drivers don't like her too much. heehee She is so good with the kids, she takes a lot! She is about 7 years old now. The age is starting to show, her white beard is coming in! She's a little hefty right now, due to winter weight but she'll work it off this spring and summer!

This is Junior(Juns). He's a big boy too, but not as big as Ango. He weighs about 11 lbs. Lately, he has been an escape artist. He's been sneaking outside!! Not smart for a declawed cat. He's such a turkey! He'll go out, then start meowing at the door when the wind picks up or he's hungry! So spoiled! Juns loves to lay on you, especially if you are in the brown chair! He prefers to lay up on an angle. Don't know why he just does!

Macie came to visit!

Macie came for a visit today so her mommy could catch some Zzzz's before she works again tonight. Macie's always such a good girl! It gave a chance for the girls to play together again, Brady even got down on the floor and played with them. Here are some quick pictures! I need to get dinner on the table, Tater Tot Casserole-Mmmm Yummy! :)

Easter

We had a very nice Easter Sunday! We stayed home, no more traveling! It was nice.
The Easter Bunny visited Brady & Bethany. Brady got a Spiderman kite and shirt, a Bob the Builder DVD and of course some candy! He was pretty excited! :) Bethy just got lots of hugs and kisses from the Easter Bunny, she was pleased with that! We went to church and then came home. Kirk and Brady worked outside and Bethy and I slept most of the afternoon(we had a hard time the night before). So nothing too eventful, but it's just what we needed!

Here comes Bethy Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail!

Not a good movie...

Scott, Amber and Macie came over on Saturday night and we(well, not the kids) watched the movie Hostel. The movie was not great. Kirk fell asleep, Amber and I gave it a 2-3 and Scott gave it a 6. Scariest movie in a decade, far from it!! So not a good movie, but it was nice having Scott and Amber over. We hadn't watched a movie with them in a long time!

The Birch Gathering...

Tonight we went over to Mansfield and had dinner with my parents and Eric and Christy. We hadn't seen Eric and Christy since Thanksgiving! Dinner was good, but the company was better. It was nice getting caught up with their lives! We wish we had more time to spend with them but we will go and visit them soon! Thanks for dinner Mom & Dad!!

Uncle E and Brady

"Hey! Who said you could take our picture!"

P-pa and Bethy

What? Why is Eric pointing at Christy's tummy? Could it be there is another Birch in the making? HMMMMM!!!

Good Friday...

We were all over the place on Friday! We had fun though! First, we went to Cara's. Kirk put the finishing touches on her new kitchen. It looks very nice and Cara seems very pleased!! Cara took Brady over to the school across the way and they played a little. Brady really enjoyed it! It was such a beautiful day!

One view of the finished project(dishwasher to come this week)

Silly Cara! You put the knob on wrong!

Then...

After we left Cara's we headed over to Mt Vernon to go see the rest of the Cameron gang. On our way over we thought we would take a drive down memory lane. So we drove through Gambier and Kenyon College. I think we pratically lived there Freshman year of college! Which school did we attend? :) We were very sad to see that Pirate's Cove had closed! Good Food, Good Times! So sad!

We had a nice visit at Ron & Ginny's. Bethy and Macie had a fun time playing with each other. They are so funny! Brady enjoyed running around and playing with Daddy's old cars. I see that some of them got brought home too! :) We also got to see Grandpa & Grandma Cameron. All in all it was a good day. We were exhausted when we got home. It was a lot of driving but worth it to see our family!

"I can do this with my leg, Can you?"

"You have taken enough pictures, for goodness sake! We can't take it anymore!"

The Cameron's are famous yet again!

Brady made the newspaper again(he's in all 3 pictures), and mommy even got in one of the pictures(can you find her?)!!! :)

Zeke gets adopted!!

Some of you know that we found a stray dog( 7 month Purebred Pointer) about about a month ago, who we named Zeke. We kept him for about 3 weeks and then he went up to MI to live with another foster family(Pointers from Oz). Well, his foster mom informed me that Zeke went to his new adoptive family's home today! He went along with his buddy Asher that he met in MI. We are so excited for Zeke! Zeke and Asher are their only "kids" so they should be spoiled rotten! :)
He was a wonderful dog and we are so happy we got to spend part of our life with him!
